High School Girls Legacy Sixes League 

We are excited to announce our first-ever winter high school girls lacrosse league. Legacy Sixes will be a great way for high school teams to build culture, camaraderie, and prepare for their spring season. The league will consist of 5 weeks of games, including a championship bracket in the final week. Build your legacy this winter!

Wednesday Dates: 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7 

Location: LGC Athletics, Erie 5466 County Road 3, Erie Colorado 

Legacy Sixes League Rules

·  All teams will play a total of 4 games (4 weeks, one doubleheader)

·  Teams will have 10 minutes to warm up prior to their game 

·  45 minute, 3 period games -  

·  30 second shot clock

·  Games played in 2, 20 minute halves- adjusted from sixes rules to maximize game time!

·  5 minute halftime, 1 minute break in between games

·  Goalies initiate play after goals are scored; draws occur only at the start of each quarter.

·  Field is 150ft. by 100ft

·  Emphasizes tempo, with fewer stoppages in play

·  Everyone plays both sides of the field (defense/offense); substitutions are made on the fly

·  Defensive players are not penalized for entering the shooting lane of an offensive player; offensive players are penalized for taking a shot without regard for other players
